Panamanian Women Are Ugly

4. Mantra

This is the fourth song on the disc. Mantra is a Sanskrit (the sacred language of Hinduism and Tantric Buddhism) which means "Free your mind." The sign you see in the picture above is the Mantra Om, one of the most important which is used by Buddhist monks against bad luck, protection of homes, etc. and is considered the primordial sound of the universe, the origin and early all mantras .. A mantra is a word or phrase that is repeated many times, emitting a characteristic sound and used to meditate. This song

no lyrics. You can hear a sound very similar to a mantra, for, curiously, 1:12 min. I say curiously because if we add these two numbers gives 13, which is the number of songs on this album, and one of the numbers in the Fibonacci sequence in which it is based. And with these crazy Tool never know.

Analyzing the mantra Om mani padme hum , come to a small hypothesis that could be directly related to item 9 -. Lateralus, we will see later.

This album is based among other things, in Buddhism.
The basis of Buddhism is the not wish to avoid suffering

this table: http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/1325/mantra.jpg

We can see the mantra Om mani padme hum analyzed syllable by syllable. Each syllable has its own characteristics. But I want to focus on the colors. In the song Lateralus says

"... Then Black white Are All I see in my infancy.
Red and yellow Then Came To Be, Reaching out to me ..."

White and black (aggression / hate, pride)

Red and yellow (Poverty / desire to possess - Pasion / desire

The first two colors could refer to this mantra, being both negative things
and the other two, both refer to the desire .

advance I do not want anything, just a possible scenario, everything will be giving as they are drawing more conclusions.

Give their opinions, to be complementing the themes to come! Greetings
